Now this is heresay, of course, but someone describing themselves as an “insider” on some of the ‘Roo boards said they got the intiial lineup list. While, this can be just BS, some are sure to be there, like KOL, Pavement, GWAR, Steve Martin’s band…so maybe there is some truth. Regardless, read at own risk:

    Jay Z
    Neil Young
    Dave Matthews Band
    Kings of Leon
    Stevie Wonder
    Pavement
    Arcade Fire
    Norah Jones
    Massive Attack
    String Cheese Incident
    Furthur
    Michael Franti and Spearhead
    Phoenix
    Dead Weather
    STS9
    New Pornographers
    311
    Mos Def
    The Black Keys
    Avett Brothers
    Disco Biscuits
    Blakroc
    Cat Power
    Spoon
    Explosions in the Sky
    Yonder Mountain String Band
    M83
    Gossip
    Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
    Ingrid Michaelson
    John Frusciante
    Dan Deacon
    Baroness
    Lord T and Eloise
    Ryan Bingham
    Brian Jonestown Massacre
    Gaslight Anthem

This dirty little DMB rumor seems to be gaining steam…

I’d rather be under the table and dreaming than see DMB at Bonnaroo.

Agreed. Its such a typical situation in these typical times. Too many choooooices, hey ya.

Being a Bonnaroo virgin, I’ll choose my words wisely. DMB would, in all liklihood, be a terrible headliner. But isn’t there a small chance that the mood will be just right, they’ll be wise with the set list, and the nostalgia will just be overwhelming?

Then, again…yeah, DMB would be awful..

I’d take DMB over Jack Johnson and I would in fact enjoy it, I just have others in mind that I would prefer.

I doubt we would still have voices after “crash into me.”

Also, you don’t have to specify “bonnaroo” in terms of your virginity…

i don’t like it either, not one bit, it really smells, i mean out of all the choices in the world, Rusty calls himself a ‘Roo virgin…please, don’t try and pull the wool over our eyes here.

and yah, DMB would also be another bad call.

    Here is the latest clue:

“Before the star hatched is what is two times before I was.”

I am simply terrible at these things….so before something hatches, they are usually in an egg, right? but it also says star, which could relate to outer space, or the cosmos…maybe cosmic egg? wolfmother? second part of the clue is beyond me.
